Boxing equipment recommendations and review

Hand Wraps

Everlast Pro hand wraps, size 180 inch. These are the best hand wraps, hands down. I been using these since 2005 and haven’t found any other that can compare. Good quality material, they are re-washable, durable, and they protect you hands while having a comfortable fit to your hands. I recommend these to all my clients and I still use them myself. Boxing Gloves

The perfect training glove weight ranges from 12-16 ounces. Depending on your weight category however, is where the weight of your gloves really comes into play. I believe that if your weight is 140 pounds or below, you should aim for 12 – 14 ounce boxing gloves. If you’re heavier than 140 pounds aim for 14 – 16 ounce boxing gloves for punching bag training.

Gloves Im listing below will be gloves I highly recommend from the cheapest in price to the more expensive in price. If your a total beginner go with the less expensive gloves, they do the same job as the expensive ones. Once your in love with boxing training, feel free to look into the more expensive gloves if you like good quality.

Sanabul boxing gloves

If you are beginner and not sure if your doing boxing training long term, just trying things out, go with the Sanabul’s. Padding is generous which protects you from hand, knuckle and wrist injuries. It’s a durable boxing glove that lasts a long time at a reasonable price. Click image to order these gloves now.

Cleto Reyes boxing gloves

Cleto Reyes is the first boxing glove brand I fell in love with. These are more on the expensive price range when it come to boxing glove. This is a tuff, high quality, real leather boxing glove. I own a pair that are more than 10 years old and still look brand new. This boxing glove is really stiff when brand new, so expect for them to tire your hands out from the stiffness, but once you break em in from using em , you got yourself a real gem of a boxing glove. I promise. I have 3 pairs. These super protect your hands and wrist from injuries. These don’t have to much padding on the knuckle area of the glove, so if you feel you have frail knuckles these aren’t the boxing gloves for you. Click image to order these gloves now.

Winning boxing gloves

The best quality Training boxing gloves. manufactered by Winning in Japan. For real for real, no lies told. Ive never tried these boxing gloves, Ive always wanted them but I couldn’t afford them as a young amateur boxer. This summer 2020 I bout my first pair of Winning equipment which are the Punch mitt cm-50 and I am so impressed that words can’t explain how I feel about these mitts. They cost $450. I was a little disappointed the day I purchased them because they are not leather, and felt like they weren’t going to make it past 2 weeks. Thats how light and frail they feel. These mitts made it through the whole summer until today November 2, 2020 since July. These mitts took a beating Monday through Saturday 7 hours a day and still look like new and ready for more. I never felt quality like this before.

Look at them.. And to top it all off, they truly protected my hand through all the punching and pounding all summer, every day, all day long.. I love these mitts and would buy them again. I recommend this brand 100 percent. The Winning boxing gloves will be the next gloves I will be purchasing for my self for sure. Click image of the Winning boxing gloves if you know you want a pair.
